Linda Hubbard Richey, age 82, of Pendleton, SC, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026, at her home.

Born March 9, 1944, in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late George Edgar Hubbard and Florine V. Thomas Hubbard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Buddy Richey; 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Linda was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord with all her heart. She considered Jimmy Swaggert Ministries her church and received many blessings from his sermons. She enjoyed singing, reading her Bible, church, and praising God through worship and music. She will be remembered as a caring and giving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who doted on her family and loved her Chihuahua Lily.

She is survived by her children, Barbara Brown of Pendleton, Michelle Blakley (Sam) of Columbia, Charles T. Richey (Jane) of Starr, and Christopher G. Richey (Angela) of Anderson; sister, Margaret Cantrell (Sam) of LaFrance; 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

The service will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Judah Church with Bishop Scott King officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens in Clemson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
