Linda Gale Smith, age 75, of Seneca, SC, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at her home.

Born January 28, 1949, in Savannah, GA, she was the daughter of the late Aubery Wiggins and Lorraine Borges Wiggins.

Linda was a true lady in every sense of the word. She loved being married to her husband of 28 years and they often enjoyed going out to eat together. She was always seen very "put-together" and would not leave home without making sure of this. She was a very sensitive woman and especially family oriented. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and was dedicated to her family, both immediate and extended. She particularly enjoyed taking care of her family and her home. She never allowed herself to have idle time. Linda was a hard-working woman and believed in making the most of every minute of the day.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Smith of Seneca, SC; a son, John Richard Wiggins of Walhalla, SC; brothers, Jeffrey Wiggins of Jacksonville, FL and Joseph Wiggins of Orlando, FL; sisters, Laura Patterson of Walhalla, SC and Donna Sapp of Jacksonville, FL; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 2:00 until 4:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home.
