Linda Lou Herring White, 79, of Anderson, SC, loving wife to Billy R. White for 64 years, passed away Friday, December 11, 2020, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born January 25, 1941, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Otis Herring and Hazel Darby Herring. She worked as a cashier at Bi-Lo Grocery Store for 30 years and was a member of Covenant Baptist Church. In addition to her dedicated husband Billy, she is survived by her sons, William G. White, and Barry Lee White; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Tona Ray; and three sisters. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 14, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:15 p.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow visitation in the Chapel on Monday at 3:30 p.m. with Rev. Mark Entrekin officiating. Burial will follow in New Silver Brook Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted.
