Lindsay Marie Poole of Anderson, SC, age 33, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016. Her beautiful spirit and contagious laugh touched everyone around her. Her creativity shone through everything she did. Born in Gainesville, FL, on May 18, 1983, she was the daughter of James Eugene Poole and Laura Marie Hodges Poole. She earned a Bachelor's Degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and later earned a second one from UNC-Greensboro. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Josh Poole of Anderson, SC, maternal grandparents, John J. Hodges and Yvonne Hodges of Newberry, FL, and multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Lyle V. Poole and Theo Poole. The funeral service will be held at Concord Baptist Church in Anderson, SC, on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Don Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 5, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home.
