Lizell Land Neal, age 84, widow of the late Ben F. Neal, passed away on July 27, 2016. Born in Oconee County, SC on December 2, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Paul V. Land and the late Gurthie Long Land. She retired from Walmart after15 years of service. She also worked in the family business, BF Neal Upholstery, where she was a co-owner. Lizell ran a childcare nursery in her home. She was a member of North Anderson Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Kelli Cantrell and her husband John, and Kathy Robinson and her husband Don, all of Anderson, SC; her siblings, Bonnie Brewer, of Clemson, SC, Bob Land, of Seneca, SC, Tyrus Land, of Pendleton, SC, Travis Land, of Seneca, SC, Jean Myers, of Florida, Rachel Hicks, of Seneca, SC, Marian McClure, of Seneca, SC, Terrell Land, of Seneca, SC, and Karen Coker, of Seneca, SC ; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Simpson; one brother, Frank Land; and one sister, Norma Price.
