LIZZIE MAE POWELL September 25, 1930 - January 30, 2013 ANDERSON, SC Lizzie Mae Powell, age 82, of Anderson, SC passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at her home. Born in Rural, GA she was a daughter of the late Emmit and Maude Eubanks Willioughby. She was a retired seamstress. She was a member of Iva Church of God of Prophecy. She is survived by her children, David Ayers, Edward Ayers, Hester Van Ayers and Christine Taylor; 2 step-sons and 1 step-daughter; 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Ayers; her second husband, Chalton Powell; sons, Robert Lee Ayers and Billy Ayers; three step-sons; five brothers and three sisters. The Funeral service will be held at The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Stanley Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery in Lowndesville, SC.
