Obituary

Locie Hoskins Lee, age 86, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Pineville, KY on March 27, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Willie Mae Hoskins and the late Ruthie Wilson Hoskins. For fifty-six years, she was the loving and devoted wife to the late Grant Lee until his death in 2004. Mrs. Lee was employed for many years at the Clifton Shirt Company in Loveland, OH. She was a member of Brownies Creek Primitive Baptist Church for most of her life, and exemplified the love of Jesus Christ to all she met. In 1986, she and her husband, Grant, moved to Anderson upon his retirement from General Motors. Survivors include two sons, Otto C. Lee and his wife, Melissa, of Belton, SC, and Lonnie D. Lee and his wife, Deborah, of Clemson, SC; two daughters, Betty Jo Mayfield of Pineville, KY, and Frances Baker and her husband, James, of Pineville, KY; a sister, Amanda Hoskins of Goshen, OH; and five grandchildren, Bethany Lee, Deanna Murph, Hannah Lee, Tracy Lee, and Tabitha Huber. Also surviving are six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel, with Elder John Robbins and Elder John Wiley Robbins officiating. Interment services will be held on Wednesday at the Hoskins Family Cemetery and will be private. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, at the Creech Funeral Home.
