MRS. LOIS W. ADAMSOCTOBER 4, 1915 - NovemBER 2, 2008ANDERSON, SCMelba Lois Williamson Adams, age 93, of 3037 Sunset Forest Road, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Anderson, SC on October 4, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Ira Williamson and Florrie Cann Williamson. Mrs. Adams retired from the textiles industry at Equinox Mill and was a Homemaker. She was a member of Central Baptist Church where she was also a member of the Ruth Sunday School Class.Survivors include her children: son, James Haskell Adams; daughters: Betty Jo Rice and Melba Adams White and husband Jim White, all of Anderson; six grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Adams was predeceased by her husband, James C. Adams; sister, Corrine Stevenson; and brothers: Lamar, Wilburn, Lawson, and R.E. Williamson.The Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Billy Freeman and the Reverend Kurt Stutler.
