She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Wesley Sunday School Class.Survivors include her son, Christopher J. Phillips of New York City, New York; and son, Gregory D. Phillips of San Marcos, California; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters: Louise Rainey Todd, Vennie Rainey Jones, and Nelle Rainey McCown; and by two brothers: Fred Rainey and John B. Rainey.The Funeral Service will be held at 3 pm on Thursday, December 10, 2009, at Ruhamah United Methodist Church, conducted by the Reverend Paul Frey. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
