Lorian Rae "Lori" Meyaard, 72, of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020 at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, South Carolina. She was born March 26, 1948 in Grand Rapids, MI, and was the daughter of the late Earl and Nella Thiebout. Lori was a 1966 graduate of Ottawa Hills High School and retired from Meijer, Inc. after 28 years with the company. Following her retirement, she enjoyed helping the elderly as an in-home care attendant. Lori had a flamboyant outgoing personality, she loved and was loved by all, she enjoyed life to the fullest including her family, traveling and boating She will be remembered as a friend to all she met and her love for her family. Left to cherish her memory are, her significant other of 28 years, James McDonald; sons, Jeffrey Meyaard and Brandon Meyaard (Mindi); brother, Roger Thiebout; and grandchildren, Amber Lindsey and Cody Zeef. In lieu of a service, the family would request that you celebrate Lori's life by making a memorial contribution to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
