Loriece Cobb Gambrell Belton, SC Loriece Cobb Gambrell, age 76, of Belton, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2014 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Madison, GA, on April 29, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Jonah Cobb and the late Annie Bell Queen Cobb. Loriece was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and she enjoyed socializing with her friends at Pop's Putt Putt Bingo. She attended Faith Fellowship Ministries. She was a loving mother, a devoted grandmother, and special friend to all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Martha Shelton, of Williamston, SC, Pete Case, of Belton, SC, Rebecca Nimmons, of Williamston, SC, Ray Gambrell, of Columbia, SC, Charolette Gambrell Myers, of Monroe, NC, and Mark Gambrell, of Greenville, SC; a sister, Hattie Mae Leonard; 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny French Gambrell; sons, Clarence Edward Roach and Billy A. Roach; daughters, Alisa M. Bigsby and Charlene D. Gambrell; 3 brothers, Joel, Robert and Logan Cobb; and 2 sisters, Janie Mae Roach and Dorothy Faye Jackson. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 15, at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Phillip Clardy and Reverend Sam Duncan officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
