She was a graduate of Northside High School in Atlanta, GA and was a bookkeeper for Brown Steel Inc, in Newman Georgia. Mrs. Pelt was a member of Devereaux United Methodist Church in Sparta, GA. Survivors include her husband of the home; son, Steve H. Rentz and his wife, Debbie of Bradwood, IL; two step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Weyman F.
