Lorraine Sosebee Blessing Anderson, SC Lorraine Sosebee Blessing, age 95, of Anderson, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2014, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Cornelia, GA, she was the daughter of the late George Sosebee and Allie Carpenter. She was a retired bookkeeper, having worked at Travelers Petroleum. Lorraine was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Anderson, where she enjoyed keeping the kitchen there organized. She is survived by her daughter, Tissie Watson (Jack), of Anderson, SC; a brother, Norman Sosebee (Frances), of Canton, GA; a sister, Peggy Bickley (Jim), of Marietta, GA; three grandchildren, PJ Watson (Melissa), Matt Watson (Leigh) and Meg Watson (Chris Dorsel), all of Charleston; and three great-grandchildren, Jackson, Gardner and Perry Watson, all of Charleston, SC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Blessing; and a daughter, Reverend Linda Blessing. The Graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2014, at 1:30 p.m.at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Reverend Dr. Dennis Tedder officiating. The family will gather for a time of visitation following the service. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Tissie Watson. They would like to thank Kelly and Stan King, Carolyn and David Segers and the staff of Morningside of Anderson, especially Faye Thrasher for the love and care shown to Lorraine.
