Ervin, died Monday, March 10, 2008 at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Atlasburg, PA on July 4, 1944, Mr. Ervin was a son of the late Gertrude E. Ervin. He was a Blasting Engineer for Richard B. Russell Dam. Survivors include his wife, Isabel H. Ervin of the home; daughters, Margaret Byars and her husband, James, and Marie Coley and her husband, Jonathan; brothers, James Ervin and Harry Paul Ervin; sisters, Gloria Pierce, Mary Weber, Claire Speicher, Shirley Hertzler, Mildred Allen and three grandchildren, Andrew Byars, Meagan Byars and Julia Coley.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 14, 2008 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Dr. Robbie Garrett . Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2008 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.At his request, his body will be cremated.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Association of Anderson, 215 E.
