Frank Gilliland of 411 South Elm Street died on Friday, June 13, 2008 at Anderson Place.Born on April 8, 1925 in Iva, South Carolina, Mrs. Gilliland was a daughter of the late W. Berry Hall and Katie Yeargin Hall. She was a homemaker.Mrs. Gilliland is survived by her husband of over sixty-four years, J. Frank Gilliland, of the home; and their three sons: Jim Gilliland and wife, Linda, of Pendleton, Steve Gilliland and wife, Barbara, of Pendleton, and Craig Gilliland and wife, Marcie, of Anderson; a sister, Virginia Latham of Shelby, NC and a brother, Eris Hall of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby L. Adams; a brother, Clifford Hall; and a grandson, Jimmy Gilliland.The Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 16, 2008 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Ken Johnson and the Reverend Mike Harrell.
