LOUISE LOWE Louise Christine Mizell Lowe, age 78, of Anderson, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, February 25, 2014. Born on April 24, 1935, in Ahoskie, NC, she was the daughter of the late Johnny Mizell and the late Cora Hodges Mizell Godwin. For 61 years, she was the loving and devoted wife of the late Robert L. Lowe until his death in 2013. Mrs. Lowe had a passion for her family who brought her great joy. She was a homemaker and her family and friends always enjoyed meals she lovingly prepared. Louise was a loyal friend to many and she had an infectious sense of humor. She was a member of West Anderson Church of God. Survivors include 2 sons, Rick A. Lowe of Anderson and J. Duane Lowe (Dianne) of Seneca; a daughter, Toni R. Kubu (Jerry) of Kings Mountain, NC; a brother, Geno T. Godwin (Anita) of Ahoskie, NC and a sister Jacqueline Outland (Buddy) of Aulander, NC; 6 grandchildren, Dion, Brian, Heather, Amanda, Jason, and Chelsea; and 4 great- grandchildren, Kimberly, Marco, Bella, and Sullivan. In addition to her parents and her husband, Robert, she was preceded in death by sisters Addie Askew, Hazel Harmon, Modie Byrum, and Jo-Ann Harrell. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Louise Lowe will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. John Daniel officiating.
