McGillDecember 17, 1919 - October 2, 2010IVA, SCMrs. Louise Forrester McGill, age 90 of 601 West Broad Street, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Iva, SC, Louise was a daughter to the late Anthony Roy Forrester and Amy Ozmint Forrester. She was a 1937 graduate of Girl's High School. She was a faithful member of Trinity Bible Church. Louise was a former member of the Iva Town Council and was a well-respected community leader. Louise is survived by her sons, Sam McGill and his wife, Janice, Michael R. McGill, Kenneth E. McGill all of Iva, SC, and Randy McGill and his wife, Susan of Anderson, SC; sisters Fredna Forrester of Anderson, SC and Joyce Walls of Indiana; one special sister-in-law, Mary Forrester of Iva, SC; two special nieces, Charlene Campbell and Norma Adams; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband Harold McGill; two sons, Harold Roy McGill and Thomas E. McGill; three brothers, Gene, T. H., and Ray Forrester; one sister, Evelyn Allen and three grandchildren.The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 4, 2010 at 2:00pm in The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Dr. Ralph Walls and Reverend Paul Young officiating. Interment will follow at Iva City Cemetery. The family will be at 601 West Broad Street, Iva, SC, and will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
