Luanne McIntyre Taylor, age 66, of Belton, SC, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022, at her home. Born December 27, 1955, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles Phillip McIntyre and Mildred Greene McIntyre. She was married to Leonard Douglas Taylor for 42 years until his death in February 2021. Luanne earned her master's degree and was a Licensed Independent Social Worker. She played the flute in high school and enjoyed helping to organize the reunion events for Parker High School Band. Luanne was a very social person and was a doer, always helping in any way she could. She and her husband were foster parents to 12 children. She is survived by her children, Scott Taylor and Kami Taylor Styles both of Belton; brother, Charles Phillip McIntyre, III (Wanda) of Lyman; 3 nieces, 1 nephew, 4 great-nephews, and 2 great-nieces. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ellen McIntyre. No services are planned at this time.
