LUCIA M. SHAWDecember 5, 1921-March 15, 2009OBITUARYANDERSON, SCMrs. Lucia Irene Medlin Shaw, age 87, wife of the late Henry T. Shaw, Jr., died Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Rainey Hospice House.Born in Pickens, SC, she was a daughter of the late Ed Medlin and Rosa McCall Medlin. She retired from textiles and was an active member of Bible Deliverance Church in Anderson. Mrs. Shaw was a gifted seamstress who made many of her own clothing, an avid bowler and enjoyed walking at the Anderson Mall.Survivors include her sisters, Martha Norwood of Westminster and Geneva Logan of Greenville; brothers, Wallace Medlin of Asheville, NC and Junior Medlin of Rock Hill; and a number of nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Cleo, Ernest, Willis and Donald Medlin and two sisters, Mary Magdalene Mann and Eula Mae Carter. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverends Manley Shaw and Carolyn Brown.
