LUCILLE B. JONESFEBRUARY 21, 1917 - July 4, 2009GREENVILLE, SC ' Lucille Magdelene Jones, age 92, of 32 Simmons Avenue, Greenville and formerly of 606 Concord Road, Anderson passed away at her home on Saturday, July 4, 2009.Born in Marinette, Wisconsin on February 21, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Stanley Blasky and Ella Peters Blasky. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes High School and was an avid duplicate bridge player. Mrs. Jones was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Anderson and recently a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville.Survivors include her three children: daughter, Mary Lou Ferguson of Greenville; sons: Robert Joseph Jones and wife, Joyce of Anderson, Jack Jones and wife, Sylvia of Anderson; sister: Anita Jaksich of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; seven grandchildren: Shayna Ferguson and companion, Rebeca Ortega of Greenville, Scott Ferguson and wife, Jamise of Greenville, Jason Ferguson and wife, Mary of Atlanta, Rebecca Pruitt and husband, Graydon of Donalds, Sarah Lucille Jones of Athens, Jennifer Woods and husband, Nathan of Anderson, and Matthew Jones and wife, Andrea of Clemson; four great grandchildren: James Ferguson, Ella Ferguson, Hunter Pruitt, and Madison Pruitt.In addition to her parents, her husband, L. Joseph Jones and her brother, Raymond Blasky, predeceased her.The Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at St. Joseph Catholic Church celebrated by Father Hayden J. Vavarek. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The recitation of the rosary will be said at 6pm and the family will receive friends until 8 pm on Monday, July 6, 2009, at The McDougald Funeral Home. It is suggested that memorials be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.The McDougald Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
