PRUITT ANDERSON, SC Lucille Shelton Pruitt, age 83, wife of William R. Pruitt, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Hosanna Health & Rehab of Piedmont. Born in Hull, GA, on April 16, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Shelton and the late Lena Sanders Shelton. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs, Pruitt was the only one of eleven children to graduate high school. She is survived by her husband of 43 years; daughters, Donna P. Hopper (Mike) of Snellville, GA, and Patricia P. Cruell (Larry) of Taylors, SC; son, William R. Pruitt, III of Monti Video, MN; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill, Robert and Henry Shelton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Toni Pruitt and a daughter-in-law, Tracey Pruitt. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 11:00 am in The Chapel of the McDougald Funeral Home, with the Reverend Dwight Greene officiating. Interment will follow in New Silver Brook Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:30 am until 10:30 am prior to the service.
