Before retiring from the textiles industry, Mrs. Shubert had previously worked at the Starr and Wamsutta Mills. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church for over sixty years.She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Donald (Phyllis) Rothrock of Townville; a granddaughter, Anna Elizabeth King of Greenville; and a sister, Corean Hicks of Greenville.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Shubert was preceded in death by her husband, James I Shubert; a sister, Rachel Jordan; and two brothers, Marvin and Albert Martin.A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park conducted by the Reverend Mike Fitzpatrick.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 2, 2008.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverside Baptist Church, 504 S.
