Lucille Grant Smith Anderson, SC Lucille Grant Smith, age 87, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at her residence. Born in Swain County, NC, on September 12, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Jasper Lee Grant and the late Lou Ella De Hart Grant. She retired from the textile industry after many years of service. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her children, Randy Smith and Shirley Motsinger, both of Anderson, SC; five brothers; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Smith; and one sister. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 27, 2015, at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 26, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted.
