LUCY MAE DOCKINS May 2, 1940 - July 7, 2012 Lucy Mae Dockins, age 72, of Iva, SC passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Emory Spear Beck and Pearl Turner Beck. She was employed for many years as a cook at the Waffle King in Iva. She was of Pentecostal Holiness faith. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, John Edward Dockins of Iva, Marion Dockins of Anderson, Betty Rice and her husband Bryan of Largo, FL and Louise Hawkins and her husband Don of Anderson; a sister, Ella Watts of Clayton, GA; and one grandchild, Steven Mitchell Homol. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Dockins, two sisters and four brothers. The Graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Dockins will be held on Friday, July 13, 2012 at 10:00 am at the Iva City Cemetery with Martin Wiles officiating.
