She was a member of Pope Drive Baptist Church.Survivors include her son, Ed McAlister and his wife, Emily of Anderson; one sister, Betty Gentry of Anderson; two granddaughters, Robin Kegley and her husband, Geoff of Wilmington, NC and Amy Meredith and her husband, Brett of Greenville, SC; three great-grandsons, Bryson and Foster Kegley and Parker Meredith.She was preceded in death by four brothers, Fred Parnell, Calvin Parnell, Floyd Parnell and Ralph Parnell and three sisters, Madge Warren, Jessie Jennings and Willie Mae Warden.A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at New Silver Brook Cemetery conducted by Reverend Mack Tester.
