Mrs. Scoggins retired from the textiles industry having been employed by Abney Mills as well as Clark-Schwebel Fiberglas Corporation. In earlier years, she enjoyed farming. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.Survivors include her children: son, Melton Earl Loskoski and wife, Sharon, of Starr; daughter: Melvina Ann Gundry and husband, Alex, of Starr; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Melvin Loskoski; her second husband, Otis Scoggins; daughters: Betty Smith, Cathy Dale Motes, Lisa Darlene Loskoski, and Susan Loskoski; brothers: Cullen, Willis, George, and Fred Evans; and sisters: Sarah Evans, and Mary Williams.The Funeral Service will be held at 3pm on Sunday, July 24, 2011, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Mike Harrell.
