Luke Daniel McClain, age 19, of Anderson, SC, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021. Born November 8, 2002, in Anderson, SC, he is the son of Lydia Anne Parnell McClain (Steve Houghtaling) and Tommy Michael McClain. Luke attended and graduated from Wil Lou Gray Opportunity School in Columbia, SC, and was currently working as a cook at Pizza Hut. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and playing video games. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Coby and Ethan McClain; grandmother, Lydia Parnell; great-grandfather, Evans Simpson; uncle, Ben Parnell (Caitlyn); and girlfriend, Breahna Williams. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Benny Parnell; and grandmother, Phyllis Dobbins. A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 2, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Long Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with Mr. Bradley Saxon, founder of the Bridge Center officiating.
