Mrs. Moon had formerly worked in the manufacturing industry and was a homemaker. She was a member of Carswell Baptist Church.Survivors include her husband of sixty years, Henry Ford Moon, of the home; children: Henry Wayne Moon and wife, Terri of Starr, SC, Ernest Gerald Moon and wife, Nancy of Iva, SC, James Edward Moon of Starr, SC, Judy Annette Moon of Starr, SC, and Leonard Ray Moon of the home; brothers: Hoyt Wiles of Iva, SC, and Robert Wiles of Starr, SC; sisters: Irene Dickerson of Starr, SC, Alice Burdette of Iva, SC, Sara Mauldin of Starr, SC, and Linda Copeland of Anderson, SC; a granddaughter reared in the home, Kimberly Goldsmith; ten other grandchildren and twenty one great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers: Horace, Ralph, Jerry, and Clyde Wiles; and two sisters: Mary Faye Wiles and Phyllis Wells.The Funeral Service will be held at 3pm on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at Gethsemane Baptist Temple conducted by grandsons, Greg Moon and John Ford Moon.
