Luray "Pa / Ray" Edward Kessler Sr., 80 of Anderson, SC passed on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Rainey Hospice House. Born in Beckley, WV he was the son of the late Luray and Myrtle Kessler. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was in sales for Bi Lo Beauty Supplies that served the Anderson area. He was also retired from Frito-Lay management. Surviving are his wife Lois Cook-Kessler of Anderson, daughter Terri Owens (Steve Owens), sons Ray (Cheri), Danny (Darla), Tim (Lisa). The apples of his eye are his five grandsons, Brandon (Brittany), Chris (Haley), Devin (Chelsea), Elijah and Aaron also his two great grandchildren Trent and Harper. His adopted children Tim and Melinda Phillips. Along with his love for the grand-pets Chloe, Sophie, Big Russ, Tri-pod and Nubbins. Pa Ray will be greatly missed, he touched the lives of many people through his gentleness, humor and fatherly advice. Receiving friends will be Sunday, August 16th at 2:30pm with a memorial service to follow at 3:00pm at Judah Church, 640 Hembree Road, Anderson SC 29625 with Bishop Scott King officiating.
