Luther Jackson Evans, 82, of Anderson, SC, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 at his home. Born October 20, 1938 in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Hoyt Luther Evans and Georgia Jackson Evans. Luther was a graduate of Boys High and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his brother, Larry Neal Evans of Westminster, SC; sisters, Barbara Wood (Stanley) and Becky Woodruff (Billy) both of Anderson, SC; brother-in-law, Carl Ray McKinley of Hartwell, GA; and six nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Martha "Micky" June Evans McKinley. The family will have a private service.
