JAMES REDMOND March 11, 1924 - November 9, 2008ANDERSON, SCMr. Luther James Redmond, age 84, of 123 Sunny Hill Lane, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at his residence.Born in Savannah, GA on March 11, 1924, he was a son of the late Luther M. Redmond and Annie Mae Williams Redmond. He was a retired Foreman with Union Camp Paper Corporation and served in the United States Navy. Mr. Redmond was a member of First Baptist Church in Midway, GA.Survivors include his wife, Helen Bragg Redmond of the home; daughters, Shirley Washburn and Lynn Fuller, both of Anderson; brothers, Carl Redmond of Midway, GA, Roy Redmond of Ellabell, GA and Frank Redmond of Key West, FL; sister, Elizabeth Morgan of Townsend, GA; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Eugene Redmond.A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at 1:00 pm at Old Dorchester Cemetery, Midway, GA.The family will be at the residence.A message of condolence may be sent to the family by visitingwww.mcdougaldfuneralhome.comThe McDougald Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
