Martin Wilson of Anderson Place, 311 Simpson Road, Anderson, SC, died Monday, January 9, 2006 in Pinellas Park, Florida.Born in Elberton, GA on October 13, 1921, Mr. Wilson was a son of the late Luther Catamus Wilson and Mattie Elizabeth Craft Wilson. He was retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas as Corporate Engineer and was a veteran of the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was a Shriner, a Mason, and member of Ruff Masonic Lodge. He was a member of Orrville Baptist Church where he served as former deacon and a member of the building committee. He is survived by his wife, Juanita F. Martin Wilson of the home; a son, Darrell Wilson of Simpsonville, SC; one grandchild and two step-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Wilson Asbury Wilson and three sisters, Ruth Moore, Lessie Hendrix and Jessie Ayers. The Funeral Service with military honors will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2006 at 3:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel officiated by Dr. Wendell Bannister.
