DAVISDecember 5, 1925 - March 27, 2010Belton, SCLydia Brock Davis, age 84, of 5 Cox Street, Belton, SC, widow of the late Louie Davis, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2010 at her residence.Born in Abbeville County, SC to the late Jasper Brock and Emma Adams Brock on December 5, 1925, Mrs. Davis was retired from textiles.Survivors include her son, Truman Davis; five daughters, Ruth Conard, Judy Shaw, Marion Newton, Mary Davis, and Rebecca Vesey; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son Gerald Davis and all of her brothers and sisters. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family.The Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Belton Church of God of Prophecy with Reverends Mike Willis and Bo Trotter officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories in Belton, SC.Mrs. Davis will be taken to her home where the family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon.
