FANTMARCH 30, 1917 - FebrUARY 6, 2009ANDERSON, SC ' Lydia Mae Boyd Fant, age 91, and wife of the late James Hay Fant, Jr., went home to be with the Lord on February 6, 2009.Mrs. Fant was born in Fort Mill, SC, on March 30, 1917, and was the daughter of the late Carrie Culp Boyd and William Langdon Boyd. She lived in Anderson for thirty-eight years prior to being a resident of the Presbyterian Home in Clinton for the last ten years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Anderson and the Daughters of the American Revolution.Surviving are two sons: James H. Fant, III, and wife Karen Fant of Heathrow, FL, and William B. Fant and wife Nancy Fant of Greenville, SC; four grandchildren: Whitney Fant Bayliss and husband Rod Bayliss of Longwood, FL, Kendall Fant Snyder and husband Nate Snyder of Simpsonville, SC, Lindsay Fant Mauldin and husband Scott Mauldin of Maitland, FL, and Cayce Fant Finley and husband Jason Finley of Seneca, SC; and eight great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Fant was predeceased by her sister, Jack Boyd Simpson.The Funeral Service will be held at 3:30 pm on Monday, February 9, 2009, in the Mausoleum Chapel of Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Anderson, conducted by the Reverend Jason Finley.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Monday, February 9, 2009.The family is at the home of Mr. & Mrs. William B.
