Ronald Lyn Presley, age 61, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Greenville Health System. Born on March 1, 1957, in Griffin, GA, he was the son of Rev. Ron Presley and Peggy Bozeman Presley, both of Anderson. For seven years, he was the loving and devoted husband of Denise Presley. Mr. Presley was a cost estimator, employed by the Watson Engineering Company. He was a former employee of Delta Airlines, and is a member of Temple Baptist Church. In addition to his parents and his wife, Denise, Mr. Presley is survived by a son, Christopher Presley of Cumming, GA; a daughter, Ashley Davies and husband Todd of Abbeville, SC; a step-daughter Brandi Brookins and husband Jack of Twentynine Palms, CA; a step-son Brandon Rhodes of Anderson; a sister Patti Walker and husband Rick of Simpsonville, SC; a niece Presley Clair Walker, and a nephew Jamie Walker; four grandchildren Peyton Presley, Abby Presley, Logan Davies, and Clark Davies; five step-grandchildren Kaitlyn Rhodes, Logan Davis, Jaxon Brookins, Dylan Brookins, and Savannah Brookins. Lyn will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 2 P.M. at the Chapel of the McDougald Funeral Home, with Rev. Dr. Larry Pearson and Mr. Joe Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the residence, and will receive friends at the McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday from 12 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Pall bearers include Joe Campbell, Tony Waldrop, Brandon Bell, Dwaine Isbell, David Gifford, and Jim Worley.
