Judy Lynn Trotter Roper, age 59, of 105 Overland Drive, passed away at her residence on Thursday, October 19, 2017. Born on November 16, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Grady T. Trotter and the late Hester Mae Harper Trotter. For twenty nine years, she was the loving and devoted wife of Ronnie Roper of the home. Lynn was a graduate of Crescent High School in the Class of 1976. She was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, Lynn is survived by two sons, Casey S. Brown of Billings, MT, and Scott Brown and his wife, Amber, of Honea Path; a step-son, Shane Roper and his wife, Wendy of Dallas, TX; a step-daughter, Kinsley Roper of Columbia; a sister, Elaine Simpson of Anderson; three grandchildren, Maddie, Ellie and Braylyn; and two step-grandchildren, Savannah and Clay. In addition to her parents, Lynn was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ellis and two brothers, Gerald and Tony Trotter. The service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Roper will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, with Rev. Mark Krieger officiating.
