Cheryl Lynne O'Barr Brown, age 80, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Rainey Hospice House.

Born August 8, 1944, in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late John Walton O'Barr and Tululah Francis McCurry O'Barr.

Lynne was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved her cat Oliver, ice cream, and crossword puzzles. She was an avid reader and enjoyed studying genealogy. Above all else, she loved her family, especially her great grandson Drayton.

She is survived by her daughters, Amy Brown (Olin Carlisle) and Leah Brown (Dylan Moore); sister, Elaine O'Barr Moore; granddaughter, Anna Burns; and great grandson, Drayton Crompton.

The family will host a celebration of life at a later date.
