Lyubov Bratnichenko Tokarev, age 61, of Simpsonville, SC, passed away with family by her side on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born August 24, 1961, in Pushkarevka, Ukraine, she was the daughter of Konstantin Ivanovich Bratnichenko of Massachusetts, and the late Vera Leontevna Bratnichenko. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Aleksander Bratnichenko. Lyubov loved her family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren. She was a member of The Church in Simpsonville. In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Roman Tokarev of the home; son, Andrew Tokarev (Crystal) of Simpsonville, SC; daughters, Julie Kumar (Daniel) of Alexandria, VA, Vicky Cherry (David) of Simpsonville, SC, Svetlana Robinson (Devin) of Mauldin, SC, and Rufina Gilberto of Morrisville, NC; brothers, Pavel Bratnichenko of Georgia and Vladimir Bratnichenko of Massachusetts; sister, Nadezhda Melnichuk of South Carolina; and 7 wonderful grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 11:00 am at Summer of God Slavic Evangelical Church with Pastor Piotr Nestertsov officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
