IN LOVING MEMORY OF
M. Louise
Williamson
September 20, 1930 – November 14, 2025
Margaret Louise Williamson, 95, of Anderson, SC, peacefully passed away at Rainey Hospice House on Friday, November 14, 2025.
Louise was born in Hartwell, GA on September 20, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Milledge Thrasher and the late Minnie Wright Thrasher. Her husband Lawson Williamson preceded her in death as well as a son, Donnie Williamson.
Louise was the proud mother of five sons. Her days were spent as a referee, even though she worked full-time. Her best solution to managing 5 boys was to put each son in a different corner. She had to be tough, and firm and she did with total unconditional love. She loved everyone she met, and she never met a stranger. She enjoyed cooking and baking, Clemson Football and the Atlanta Braves.
She retired from Anderson School District 5 as a crossing guard and formerly worked for the Richburg Grocery Store on Bleckley Street. She was a faithful member of Burdine Road Church of God. Louise loved her Lord and Savior who was always first in her life.
Louise is survived by her sons, Doug Williamson (Kathy), Randall Williamson (Shannon), Larry Williamson (Becky) and Terry Williamson; sister, Janelle Cain; grandchildren, Greg, Bailee, Travis, Corey, Robbie, and Jody Williamson and Necie Howard.
In addition to her parents, husband and son, she is predeceased by a grandson, Wesley Williamson; and siblings, Joann Kelley, Mary Thomas, Evelyn Crocker, Charles Thrasher, Eugene Thrasher, Jenkins Thrasher, Junior Thrasher, Hayward Thrasher, and Jerry Thrasher.
