She was a homemaker and worked in textiles for several years. She was a former member of Ware Shoals Assembly of God.In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Janice Whitfield (Bobby) of Belton, Jean Newman (Fred) of Honea Path, Linda Jennings (Rickey) of Fountain Inn and Tommy Lee Burton and Billy Dean Burton; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.She was predeceased by her first husband, William J. Burton, second husband, Donnie Autry; son; David Burton; four brothers and two sisters.A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, March 18, 2011 at 11:00 am at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church officiated by the Reverends Carroll Plemmons and Andy Hall. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with visitation following.
