Moore and Clara James Moore. Mrs. Raines retired from the textiles industry having worked at Appleton Mill. Following retirement, she was affiliated with See The World Tours as a travel agent. For over eighty years, she was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church.Survivors include her sons: Charles David Raines, Michael Lee Raines and wife Shelby, Randy Raines and wife Diane; sisters: Mary Hunt and Grace Fowler; brother, Charles Adron Moore; grandchildren: Jeff Raines, Angel Scott, Trudy Grantham, Peggy Pettigrew, and Michael Earl Raines; twelve great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Houston Earl Raines; and a son, Douglas Earl Raines.The Funeral Service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, February 2, 2012, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family is at the home of Randy & Diane Raines, 320 Jackson Circle, and will receive friends at the funeral home from 6pm until 8pm on Wednesday.
