Mackey Lee Davis, 78, of Belton, SC, passed away Monday, November 9, 2020 at Condor Health Anderson. Born June 18, 1941 in Anderson, SC, he was one of seven children of the late John Davis and Carmen King Walls Davis. He was married to the late Rita Gail Cann Davis. Mackey was a graduate of Boys High and Anderson College and lived in Louisiana for many years before moving back to Anderson in 1992. He was an avid Clemson Tigers fan and was a member of Dorchester Baptist Church. He is survived by his son, Heath Davis; and grandchildren, Josh Davis (Patricia), Jordan Davis, Katie Steadman (Tanner), Seven Davis, Destiny Davis and Zeth Davis; and great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Bella, Sophie, Sammy and Michael. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Taj Brandon Davis. There will be a time of family gathering on Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 3:00-5:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home.
