Madge Lee Brady Hix "Memaw", age 95, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023.

A native of Fair Play, SC, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Brady and Cecil Sheriff Brady. Madge retired from LaFrance Industries. She was a member of Fants Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by four sons, Lane Hix (late Ann) of Anderson, Stanley Hix (Joe Lavender) of Raleigh, NC, Scott Hix (Gee) of Anderson and Randy Hix (Jenny) of Anderson; two daughters, Barbara Rhodes of Anderson and Connie Black (Donald) of Anderson; 14 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren.

Madge was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Hill Hix; and her son, Michael Kenneth Hix.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at 3:00 pm at Fants Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Castro officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:30 pm.

The family will be at the home of Madge Hix, 217 Fants Grove Circle, Anderson, SC.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Madge's honor to Fants Grove Baptist Church.
