Mae Stone (Gentry) Anderson, SC Mae Waldrep Gentry, age 85, formerly of 809 Northlake Drive, Anderson, SC, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Gainesville, GA, on February 25, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Waldrep and the late Radie Cowart Waldrep. She worked for JC Penney for over 30 years, retiring in 2001. Mae was a member of Salem Baptist Church. She is survived by her three sons, Michael, Donald and Kenneth Stone (Abby); two daughters, Zora Mims (Lauren) and Pamela Honeycutt (Mickey), all of Anderson, SC; a brother, Lamar Waldrep; 10 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Hortense White and Brenda Wilson. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Holland officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the interment in the church fellowship hall. Mrs. Gentry will be placed in the church at 1:00. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Pamela, 1326 Kings Road, Anderson, SC 29621. Flowers will be accepted.
