MAELESE KIRVEN March 9, 1914 - November 20, 2006ANDERSON, SCMrs. Maelese Keown Kirven, age 92, wife of Eckard Lee Kirven of the Magnolia's Assisted Living, formerly of 207 Kirven Drive, died Monday, November 20, 2006 at the AnMed Health Center in Anderson. Born in Elbert County, GA on March 9, 1914, Mrs. Kirven was a daughter of the late Frank M. Keown and Bessie Craft Keown. She was a homemaker who also made and sold crafts at many area Craft Fairs. She was a faithful and long time member of the Anderson First Assembly of God.Survivors include her husband, Eckard Lee Kirven of the Magnolia's; daughter, Debbie K. Sanders and her husband, Michael; brother, Alton Keown and sister, Carolyn Thomas all of Anderson, SC.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, M. M. Keown, Norbert Keown and Manson Keown and three sisters, Frances Hall, Irene Madden and Betty Hart.A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at 3:00 pm at New Silverbrook Cemetery in Anderson officiated by the Reverend Harmon Adkins.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.Flowers are optional.
