Maggie Mae Wilson Jordan, age 95, of Anderson, SC, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born May 6, 1926, in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late John Calvin Wilson and Mae Amelia Fagg Wilson. She was married to Herman W. Jordan, Jr. until his death in 2002. She was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, John Jordan; grandchildren, Brett Jordan and Melanie Jordan Verette; great grandchildren, Courtney and Kennedy Verette; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Maude Wilson, Aaron Wilson, Ludie Rogers, Sarah Phillips, Woodrow Wilson, Cora Lee McCown, George Wilson, and Laura McCoy. The family will receive friends Monday, January 24, 2022, from 1:00-2:00 pm at Long Branch Baptist Church. The funeral service will begin at 2:30 pm with Dr. Clarence Adkins and Rev. Wayne Watson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
