OBITUARY / FLAG MAJOR R. POOLEAUGUST 18, 1946 - July 27, 2008ANDERSON, SCMajor Ronald Poole, age 61, of 261 Liberty Drive died on Sunday, July 27, 2008.Born in Anderson on August 18, 1946, he was a son of the late Ansel G. Poole and Evelyn Poole. Mr. Poole was a veteran of the United States Army.Survivors include his children: Shannon Poole, Ronald Poole, and Evelyn Poole Christian; and five grandchildren.He was also predeceased by his brother, Leon Poole.A Graveside Service will be held at 10am on Tuesday, July 29 at New Silver Brook Cemetery. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 5pm ' 7pm on Monday, July 28.The family is at 200 Haynie Mill Road, Belton.The McDougald Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
