Maksim Melnik, age 22, of Pendleton, SC, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021. Born September 15, 1998, in Sacramento, CA, he was the son of Vladimir Melnik and Mariya Shereyko Melnik. Maksim was a graduate of Westside High School and Tri-County Technical College. He was an LPN with Dominion Senior Living and was a member of Summer of God Slavic Evangelical Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Roman, Yaroslav, Anthony, Mark and Victor Melnik all of Anderson, SC; and sister, Inna Dicostanzo (Christopher) and their children, Gabriella and Christopher, of Anderson, SC. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 22, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Monday, August 23, 2021, at 10:00 am at Summer of God Slavic Evangelical Church with Pastor Piotr Nestertsov officiating. Burial will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery. The family will be at the home of his parents, 318 Windcrest Lane, Anderson, SC.
