Edith Malinda McLees Rowe, age 65, of 505 Boundary Street, passed away at AnMed Health Medical Center on Monday, June 5, 2017, with her family by her side. Born on November 10, 1951 in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Jack McLees and the late Edith Gurley McLees Orlando. Mrs. Rowe was a graduate of T. L. Hanna High School, Class of 1970. She then attended Forrest College where she graduated with a diploma in private secretarial administration. Mrs. Rowe attended River of Life Church of God as long as health permitted. Survivors include a son, Richard Colton Rowe of Summerville, SC; a daughter, Mollie McLees Rowe of Anderson; two brothers, Gary McLees of Anderson, and Terry "Taboo" McLees of Little River, SC; two grandchildren, Kaylynn Johnson and Bryson Rowe. Also surviving are her former husband, Richard "Ricky" Earl Rowe of Georgetown, SC, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service to celebrate the life of Malinda McLees Rowe will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at 2 p.m.at the Mausoleum Chapel at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, with Rev. Dwight Greene officiating. The family will be at the residence and will visit with friends and family following the service at Forest Lawn.
