Mamie "Billie" Blind September 23, 1926 - June 9, 2013 ANDERSON, SC Mamie Wilma "Billie" McCall Blind, age 86, wife of Richard Eugene Blind of Duluth, GA, formerly of Anderson, passed away on Sunday, June 09, 2013 in Duluth, GA. Born in Pickens County, SC, she was the daughter of Ollie and Frank McCall. She was a cosmetologist for 34 years. She owned her own business for many years and worked with Juanita's Beauty Shop. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church where she was very active. In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her son, E. Richard Phillips of Suwanee, GA; sisters, Julia Lannin of Milwaukee, WI and Margaret Derrick of Charlotte, NC and two grandchildren, Mark Phillips and wife Katie; Lisa Phillips and two great-grandchildren Addie and Leo Phillips. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Ignatius Smith, OFM officiating.
